Steam Stone Stung Aiden

Lately Aiden is getting naughtier and naughtier...always crying in the night and waking up mulitple times. Sometimes don't even want to sleep when it's past midnight.

Today he woke up very early at 7+ in the morning while we were preparing to go to work. Look at his steamy face and spiky hair...so cuteee...



Aiden Tired from House Viewing

Today we brought Aiden along to Compass Point for dinner and then proceeded to nearby block for house viewing. Since we were early, we waited for our agent Stephanie at the void deck near the lift area. Think he must have been tired from waiting, soon after he felt asleep. The weather was so humid so we had to fan him occasionally to keep him cool.

Aiden's hands can now reach the soft toys on musical mobile...soon he will be pulling it instead of touching it.

Nap Time at Grand-aunt's House

After having his vacine, we went to Potong Pasir to visit auntie Jean at Potong Pasir since it has been a while we've been there with Aiden.

He must have been tired thus he got grouchy and wanted to take his nap. Auntie Jean managed to pat his to sleep while i was pumping milk in the room. BB was in the room with me as well as he was shy to be alone with auntie Jean.

Injection Day - 3rd Vacine

Today Aiden went to the baby clinic for his 3rd vacine. He had 2 jabs and 1 oral vacine. Weighing 6.9kg and 65.5cm tall, the paed said that he was in good shape. Paed say he can start having solid food already but must slowly introduce him to each ingredient 1 by 1 to monitor his body's reaction to it. Best to introduce veg and fruits to him first and then meat and seafood when he's above 6 months old.

Aiden Holding Bottle on His Own

After a few attempts to teach Aiden how to hold the bottle by himself, Aiden has finally managed to do so, although not very stable. His hands are still not very strong and couldn't hold it for long. But it's a step forward.

He tends to play with the tits by biting it instead of drinking the milk and in the end his whole face will be covered with milk or water. Naughty boy! Think it'll be a long time before he can fully grasp the bottle properly by himself.

Is Aiden going to speak soon???

Aiden has been making many different types of vocal sounds nowadays, even when playing by himself. Is he going to speak soon? Is he going to call mummy or daddy or ah ma 1st? We're all very excited.

Aiden Loves His Musical Toy

We bought this musical mobile during the Motherhood sale earlier this month and Aiden simply loves it. It's surprising how it can sooth him at times when he's grouchy or crying. We can lay him down in his cot with the mobile turned on, and he'll play by himself.

Don't know what is it, but Aiden have a tendency to get teddy bears. First it was a teddy bear from Edward, then we got a teddy bear when signing up the Jusco membership and next the AIA receptionist gave him a bear to play with since he is so cute.

A Trip to ICA for Aiden's Passport

As my mother-in-law was also going for a day trip on 18 June - the day we are going to Batam for my birthday, i was thinking of bringing Aiden along instead of asking my aunt to baby sit cos she may not know his sleeping habits.

So we hurriedly applied for the his passport online yesterday night, hoping that we will be able to get his passport before Saturday. And in order to expedite the process, i brought Aiden down to ICA this afternoon to request for early passport collection. They told me that i would be able to get the passport by Thursday. What a relief!

Aiden was starting to be hungry and so we went to the nursing room so that i can breast feed him. However, the door was unlockable, so i had to make formula for him. To my horror, i realised that i didn't bring it along...only remembered to bring water. What's the point of having water and no formula. I also forgot to bring the 2nd most important thing - WIPES. I wanted to faint on that spot. Why have i become so forgetful nowadays. This day was a terrifying day. I couldn't remember many things. I panicked many times cos i couldn't remember whether i kept the ezylink card or not, whether i have placed my wallet and his birth cert back into the backpack already. I was really on the verge of tears. It's really scary and i was thinking what will happen if i really have amnesia when i grow old. Will i ever forget my husband and children?

Aiden1st Salon Haircut

After dim sum at Old Hong Kong, we went to NEX for BB hair cut appointment at NK salon. Seeing that Aiden was fast asleep, we asked the stylist to give him a trim FOC. He sat still throughout the hair cut and woke up when it was almost done. The staff couldn't resist his cute looks and kept playing with him. They even carried him when he had poo. Hope Aiden will be as well-behaved and sit still when he's having his hair cut in future. If not, we're gona have a big headache.
