7 & 8 Feb 2011 - G6PD & Jaundice

As Aiden has G6PD, his jaundice level suddenly shot up while he was in the hospital and had to extend his stay there for another 2-3 days. It was heart-breaking to leave him alone in the hospital but we knew that it was for his own good. We could only visit him in the hospital everyday and pray that he would be able to go home soon.

5 Feb 2011 - Day 1 After Delivery

After a much needed few hours of sleep and some food, i couldn't wait to see and hold my little Aiden in my arms..requested for the nurse to bring him over to the room eventhough it was not feeding time yet.  With the sunlight shinning through the glass window, i could see him even more clearer - his face, his features, his everything were so beautiful and perfect. He was so small and looks exactly like his daddy.  He will be a handsome boy when he grows up.

Soon, friends and relatives came to visit me and baby Aiden.  Aiden was being carried and pass around like a new toy...it was delightful to watch but at the same time a bit irritating because i didn't want to share him with others...keke.

4 Feb 2011 - D-Day

This day was the most joyous day of our lives. After 13.5hr of grueling contractions and discomfort, little Aiden finally popped out into this world. Throughout my pregnancy, i worried about Aiden's growth and health since Doc Yang kept saying that he was on the smaller side. Finally we got to see him for ourselves; holding him in our hands. He was beautiful and perfect in our eyes.  I thank God for bringing him safely into this world; into our lives...
