Rolling Over and Over Again

Aiden has been started to roll a lot lately, even on the changing table so we always have to keep a look out on him. One second he is lying on his back, the next second he's on his tummy. There were a few times when he turned on his tummy and couldn't lift his head up for long periods, so he started crying.

Aiden's 2nd Vacine

This morning, Aiden went for his 2nd vacination and he cried a bit when he took the jabs. This time there were 2 jabs made on his thighs. He also had the oral vacine which he took it quite well.

The paedatrician said that Aiden's developments are on track, weighing 5.825kgs - he is growing well and reflects all in order. Just have to take note of his neck, as he tend to turn to 1 side more than the other. 

When making payment, the nurse asked if we wanted to do the dumex survey which will entitle us to 3 cans of milk power (2 cans now for consumption when he is 6mths and another 1 can upon completion of the survey). Since we will be able to get free milk powder, why not? All we have to do is observe the poo and record down in the booklet given to us.

Aiden is starting to gain interest in his toys and can play by himself now. He likes to "talk" too when he's happy and can scream loudly at times.

Lately i've observed that Aiden tend to suck his lower lip when sleeping...similar characteristics as mummy. Hehehe.

Aiden Loves TV

Aiden really loves watching TV...we tried to block his view and he will tilt his head the other direction so that he could continue to watch. When we placed him facing the wall, he would tilt his head backwards so that he can face the TV. OMG! Hope he doesn't become a TV addict in future man. Must ban him from watching TV.

Aiden 3 Months Old

Aiden is 3 months old today and can hold him head up for short periods of time already. He really likes to watch tv, have to always cover his sight with a pillow...naughty boy! Happy 3-months Aiden!!!

Play Time with Daddy

Since Daddy has to go to work in the day, there's isn't much time for him to bond with Aiden except when he returns home at night and on weekends. So Daddy will usually spend more time playing with Aiden whenever he can, especially on weekends. You can see the happiness between them whenever they play.

Head's Up...

Aiden's neck has been getting stronger day by day and can even support his head by his own now. With so many new developments nowadays, he's being more and more fun to play with. How i wish he could grow up faster so that we can bring him for holidays together. I hope i don't miss anything when i return to work next month...just thinking of it upsets me a little.

Rolling Over...

I have been observing that Aiden has started to do the half turn which is pretty fast for a 2 month old baby. He seems to be able to pick things up very fast...hopefully he doesn't pick up the bad things when he grows older. Now i have to always keep a look out for him on the bed and put cushions around him so that he doesn't roll off the bed.

Breast Milk vs Milk Powder

For the last few weeks i have been feeding Aiden breastmilk 90% of the time but it seems like he is not as chubby as he was. Although i know that breastmilk is good for him but i wonder why is his growth lesser compared to the 1st month? Let's see how much he's grown in 3 weeks time at his next visit to the Paedatrican for his routine vacination.

Happy Baby!

When i was pregnant, i was very emotional and would cry quite often, whether it was watching dramas, having a heated discussion with my husband or when i'm frustrated. I'm very relieved that Aiden didn't turn out to be a grouchy, crying baby. He is actually quite cheerful and easy to manage 90% of the time. I hope it continues to be like this as he grows older...

Like Father Like Son...

Aiden's sleeping posture and pattern resembles his father a lot, especially when they sleep side by side. The way their bodies, hands are placed and the direction their faces are placed are so similar to each other.  Almost like a replica...no wonder they say like father like son.

Zzzzz...

The only time i get to do my own things is when Aiden is sleeping. But on and off, i will still turn around to look at him while he sleeps. His chubby little face is so serene when sleeping; it just warms my heart instantly.  

Drool...

Lately Aiden has started to drool and play with his saliva, even putting his fingers into his mouth for sucking.  When i try to pull his fingers away, he gets frustrated. Guess he'll be putting his entire hand into his mouth very soon and drooling non-stop when his starts teething...another stage in his development.

Aiden 7 Wks Old - 1st Vacination

Aiden went for his 1st jab today and cried very loudly when the doc jabbed his tiny butt. His grandma made so much noise when she realised that the jab mark was slightly above the fleshy part of his butt. Kept nagging that next time must jab on his fleshy area.
