Motherhood Fair

Sunday, 5 June 2011

Today we went to the Motherhood fair with Donny, Mindy and mother-in-law. It was the last day of the exhibition so it was pretty crowded. Some of the stalls were already packing up when we arrived at 7.30pm.

We saw the rotating tiggle for the cot selling at a discount for $29.90, which is about $10 cheaper than John Little or other departmental stores. We immediately bought it as we have been looking for a cheap and nice one for a very long time. The ones at the departmental stores are very expensive and the cheapers models are very fragile and the dolls very shabby.

We also bought 3 Poney tops for Aiden which was on sale for $9 each.

It was getting late and we haven't had our dinner yet. So we went to Lerk Thai at the Expo for dinner. We had stir-fry minced chicken with basil leave, beef, baby kailan, fish cake in spicy sauce, fried egg and 2 small bowls of tom yam soup. We shared a portion of mango with glutinous rice for dessert.

We then rush over to John Little which was also exhibiting and it is also the last day already. There was an additional 10% discount given for all products.

Daddy bought a pair of grey Pedro working shoes which was on 50% off. Although it was on sale, the shoes still cost $69.90, which is quite expensive to me. He was so lucky as there was only 1 last pair of size 41. We also bought our usual fried ikan bilis and peanuts.
